The Challenge

About The Job

We're looking for a Commission Sales Associate to support the growth and expansion initiatives of Alpha Alias in Finland.

In this role your primary function will be to generate qualified leads for yourself and work with our project management team to produce pitches and close deals.

You will proactively engage your clients to bring them greater value and ensure Alpha Alias is seen as vital to their digital activity.

While we work as a team, it is important that you have an outgoing, self-starter type personality.

We expect you to be proactive in building and maintaining your client portfolio with all the resources available to you through the Alpha Alias network.

Alpha Alias is growing internationally and we are looking to expand our presence in Finland. Our intention is to provide localized support for clients. While Helsinki, Finland will be the base of operations, you will be able to take on clients and projects from all over the world.

  • Procure leads and develop new business
  • Manage and maintain your client portfolio
  • Operate with respect to sales targets
  • Continue to grow expertise on industry-relevant technological advancements
  • Write proposals and contracts, and negotiate with client stakeholders
  • Follow industry trends locally and internationally
  • Work with the project team to formulate client-ready pitches


  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills in English (fluent Finnish a big plus)
  • Experience procuring and activating new business, especially in Finland
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrable history of success in procuring qualified leads
  • Demonstrable history of success in closing deals
  • Solid understanding of modern digital practices
  • Solid understanding of current digital trends
  • Basic understanding of how to operate in Agile, Waterfall and Scrumfall methodologies
  • Able to legally accept work in Finland

Compensation. This is a commission-based sales role allowing a motivated individual to make a substantial amount of money. In addition to commission we will also have performance-based bonuses and a stretch bonus.

A Home. Alpha Alias HQ is based inside the main building of the Maria 01 Startup Campus at Lapinlahdenkatu 16, 00180 Helsinki. You will have a desk with the community there, surrounded by motivated entrepreneurial professionals, and you’ll receive all the benefits of being a Maria 01 member:
